Completing her Doctors of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, she also graduated valedictorian of her class. Our optometrist also obtained the highest Board score for her class.

Dr. Wang had the pleasure of rotating through the Veteran’s Affairs in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, during which she managed many eye diseases. At Marietta Eye Clinic in Marietta, Atlanta, she developed an interest in specialty contact lenses and helped people with corneal problems see well again with scleral lenses. Dr. Wang has also rotated through the Lighthouse in Chicago, prescribing low vision devices to the visually impaired.

Dr. Wang is especially interested in slowing down the progression of nearsightedness in the children in her community, otherwise known as myopia management. On the other end of the spectrum, she would also like to improve the quality of living of seniors by providing them with the appropriate low vision devices.

In her free time, Dr. Wang likes to bake and travel to new places.
