During her training in Optometry school, she did an internship at St. Albans Veterans Affairs Hospital in New York where she received training in ocular disease. During Optometry school, Dr. Lam had the opportunity to participate in a volunteer mission trip to Chiapas, Mexico with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. Dr. Lam is fluent in English and Cantonese.
- Dr. Tonia To: Optometrist: Dr. Tonia To was born in Hong Kong and was raised in Toronto. She’s fluent in giving exams in English and Cantonese. After receiving a Bachelor's of Science degree with honors in Biomedical Sciences from University of Waterloo, she continued with her studies there and obtained her Doctor of Optometry in 2013.

During her training in Optometry school, she did an internship at Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Affair Medical Center in Oklahoma where she received training in ocular disease. Dr. To has had the opportunity to participate in a volunteer mission trip to Ecuador and hopes to participate in more eye care missions in the future. She enjoys watching movies, hiking, skiing and exploring Vancouver’s food scene.
