Dr. Manjot Minhas
Dr. Minhas was born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia. He completed his undergraduate studies in biomedical physiology at Simon Fraser University. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry at Pacific University in Oregon. He fulfilled his clinical rotations at medical centers focusing on ocular disease and family eye care. He is also a recognized member of the BSK International Optometric Honor Society for his academic excellence. Dr. Minhas has a particular interest in providing myopia control services to help prevent high vision prescriptions and helping children manage dry eye disease. Outside of Eyestyle, Dr. Minhas enjoys hanging out with his family, friends, and many nieces and nephews. He also enjoys playing and teaching tabla. Dr. Minhas is an avid Vancouver sports fan and is passionate about promoting health and wellness.
Dr. Jimmy Dhesa
Dr. Dhesa was raised in Surrey, British Columbia. He completed his undergraduate studies in biomedical physiology at Simon Fraser University. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry at Pacific University in Oregon. He fulfilled his clinical rotations at medical centers focusing on ocular disease and family eye care. At graduation, he was presented with the Outstanding College of Optometry Graduate award for outstanding leadership, involvement, community service, academic achievement, and service to the university. Dr. Dhesa has a particular interest in ocular disease management, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Dhesa is also passionate about improving accessibility to eye care and eyewear. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dhesa enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He’s a professional Bhangra dancer and has competed at numerous local and international competitions.
