Dr. Mindy Blumberg
Founder of the Sea to Sky Optometry. Dr. Mindy Blumberg is an Optometrist registered with the British Columbia College of Optometrists and member of the British Columbia Doctors of Optometry. After she graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo in 2016, she moved to Whistler, BC to live closer to the mountains.
Dr. Alexander Jobe
Dr. Alexander is an Optometrist and a practicing member at British Columbia Doctors of Optometry and Ontario Association of Optometrists. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2016. Then, in 2019 he received his Doctorate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Dr. Brandon Baker
Dr. Brandon Baker graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2015 and completed an internship in Baltimore. He has also volunteered internationally, providing eye care in Malawi to help improve access to vision care. He lives in Squamish with his wife Ashala, their son, and their dog. Together, he and Ashala own Garibaldi Eye Care. Outside the clinic, he enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking in the Sea to Sky.
Dr. Ashala Mah
Dr. Ashala Mah grew up in Saskatoon, and attended the University of Saskatchewan. She then attended the University of Waterloo School of Optometry, graduating in 2015 and moving west. She has volunteered internationally, providing eye care in Malawi and Romania. She now lives in Squamish with her husband Brandon, their young son, and their dog. Together, Ashala and Brandon own Garibaldi Eye Care. When not at the clinic, she enjoys hiking and participating in local theatre, and is the author of a children’s book about eye care, for ages 3–5.
